The Winter Beach

Hola Amigos and Amigas, Peanut the novelty elf here! I’m here to tell you the story of how I found the best decorating idea ever! Its had been a long winter here, stuck in my bright orange Christmas tree. I was starting to get a touch of cabin fever, if you can call hurling shatterproof ornaments at the wall trying to break them ‘a touch’. By the way they call them shatterproof for a reason. So I thought I would do a little bit of exploring in the stock room…

First I stumbled on these absolutely fabulous pineapple beach lights. They were so cute and tropical; I immediately took them to my tree home but became quickly unsatisfied when I noticed how non-tropical the rest of my home appeared. The situation was quickly amended when I spotted an extensive selection of artificial palm trees for my little elf self to live in. I had successfully conquered cabin fever, but now, being surrounded by such warm feelings of summer, I had forgotten it was winter. It was now very cold and I needed to wrap up in one of our beach-themed afghan throws.

Cabin fever may be easy to cure for a tiny elf like me. In case your home requires a bit more cheer to fully shake the gloom off this season, be sure to check out our “Beach Party” collection of tropical animals and imagery in bright summer happy colors.

Or for a more sophisticated way to beat the season, try filling your home with coastal items. White washed cottage style furniture and décor items made with capiz shell are sure to ignite memories of ocean vacations. Compliment your theme with statues and images of pelicans and fish.

Ultimately, finding this boatload of summer-y stock really cured my cabin fever! So don’t go crazy andstart hurling things, have a pineapple!

…And a great day!

Mischievously yours,

Peanut the novelty Elf
