Clever Fall Decor

Hi there everyone! This is Clayton the technically savvy elf again from Christmas Central!  I hope all is well out there! Lets get things started by getting some helpful information to you all on products for this fall season.  Our small fiber optic LED flags are wonderful for the outdoors.  Many times we have questions on if they will be safe outdoors.  The answer is “They will absolutely be safe outdoors.”  Being that they are “AA” battery operated and ideal for night time use.  There is an activation switch near the battery pack that needs to be set to “on”.  After this is done, the flag will stay on a continuous cycle where it will stay lit for 8 hours and then turn itself off for 16 hours.  The flag does flash as it will approximately stay lit for intervals of 60 seconds at a time.

The next item is near and dear to me as I am a turkey fanatic.  This colorful turkey window silhouette is one of the most captivating Thanksgiving décor items we have at Christmas Central.  It is very bright with its 35 luminescent wide angle LED mini bulbs.  I must advise we all be careful when put together multiple units of this item as they are capable of connecting end-to-end and can be a safety hazard.  The item takes 2.4 watts itself; with multiple units and other household items taken into account.  We do not want more than 210 watts in that power source.  This could disrupt your electrical circuits and cause big safety issues for your home.

For this week, these are going to be our items for the technical issues.  I have some more items in the works for next week.  But please help me address any concern you all may have regarding any of our products or anything I may have overlooked.  Please shoot me an e-mail!

All the best!

Clayton

A Window to the Fall Holidays

Hello, fellow lovers of the world outside! Griff here again! You know, even now, elves throughout Christmas Central are working hard in preparation for the upcoming Christmas season. But, as I told you all last time, just because the excitement is building doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take time for the holidays right in front of you. After all, Fall is a beautiful season! Trees turning beautiful colors, the sign of the season. Sometimes the others get unhappy with me, say that I spend time with my head in the clouds wandering around. But honestly, I’m just taking it all in. That’s why I spend so much time out and about.

Though some people might not want to think about outside decorations. They prefer to not worry about dealing with things like running extension cords, working on ladders and staking things to the ground. Well, there’s no reason that you can’t have a lovely house to display, even with much simpler work. To that end, I present Window Decorations. These lovely designs are shaped frames lined with lights to create a lighted portrait. Arriving with suction cups, they can easily be attached to the inside of any window, and then shine their image for all to see. Passerby, hikers, neighbors, all will appreciate the charming or funny images you present for them.

But of course, the holiday closest right now is Halloween, so let’s talk SCARY. Trick or treaters are coming, so decide how you want to greet them.

Here’s a scary skull, saying hi with a cheerful grin!

Or perhaps a charming Jack-o-lantern? Even if you aren’t good with a carving knife, a happy pumpkin can be yours to display.

And don’t forget, Halloween is the night where ghosts roam the world once more.

With these simple decorations, your house will be transformed from humdrum to haunted in an instant! Take it from me, these decorations and others are just what is needed to get into the creepy, crawly mood.

But Halloween all too soon will be gone, and then we move on to the celebration that most typifies the fall spirit, Thanksgiving. Beyond that, I would like to show you something. So far I’ve only shown you the decorations that are outlines, lines drawn by lights into shapes. Fun, of course, but perhaps you want something a  bit more colorful? Celebrate the season, and all that you can count your blessings for, with these.

Clearly, a different type of product. Using a bright, light catching material, they are instead a solid image, lit up from within by the lights rather than outlined by it. A  friendly turkey, or the traditional cornucopia of Fall, either of these can be in your window to the world.

Just remember that you can present the world an image without having to take a step outside. Though I find it less fun, that shouldn’t deter any of YOU from taking these decorations, and others like them, and making your house windows the lighted stage of your holiday spirit. But I have to get back, soon. It’s getting dark, and these woods get…a bit scary. Well, gotta go!

Until next chat! (i hope!)

Greeting from Clayton the elf!

Hello all!  This is Clayton the elf!  As a recent graduate from N.I.T. (North-pole Institute of Technology) with a degree in Holiday Product Technology.  I am well-versed in all of the latest and greatest in not only Christmas items but all of the holiday items we use year-round.  In the upcoming months we will delve more into the Christmas items,  however today we can discuss some of the more popular questions I receive in these fall months for our products.

Autumn is in full swing and we are all putting up our festive orange and purple light strings for Halloween.  The set of 100 wide angle LED orange lights and wide angle LED purple lights on white wire here at Christmas Central are great for decorating this time of year The wide angle style of these LED lights helps diffuse the light which gives them a more ambient, eerie look perfect for Halloween. But a question I get a lot is: How many of these light strings can I safely connect end-to-end?  The answer is that we ask you please limit yourselves to a maximum of 17 light strings connected together to avoid any electrical capacity issues when dealing with these LED lights.

Being that these are my favorite holiday months with our customers to share all my technical knowledge.  The aim will always be to shed as much light on common issues and concerns as I can for everyone.  Normally, these issues range from set-up of our various styles of Christmas lights (snowfall, curtain, timer), but I invite you all to please e-mail me with any additional questions or concerns you all may have that I do not cover in the next few month.

It was wonderful getting acquainted with you all!

Please e-mail me with any inquiries you may have! This is Clayton the elf signing off!

Thank you
